What is Wellbeing
A ‘Well Being’ flourishes and functions according to the balance and its relation to the ‘Whole Self’. Primarily, humans identify themselves more as a physical personality rather than perceiving themselves as a whole being. In life nothing works in isolation, everything works in connection to something. A healthy Body must also contain a healthy Mind and Soul.
We’re all a complex combination of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. What affects the Mind can affect your Physical, Emotional and Spiritual wellbeing and vice versa.
Wellbeing is not the absence of disease and illness or based on the size of your bank account, it’s your holistic presence of wellness and how you interrelate and nurture it into your everyday existence and living.
Every aspect of your life influences your state of wellbeing. Your Wellbeing is strongly connected to happiness and life satisfaction which means ‘Wellbeing’ is more about how you think and feel about yourself and your life, not in parts, but as a ‘Whole’.
A Healthy and Balanced Foundation is Key to Your Wellbeing
Is your Wellbeing feeling out of balance? How do you know?
Is it more a physical, emotional, possibly mental or spiritual or perhaps it’s a combination? Do you feel you are always recovering from some sort of battle, be it work, relationships, bad habits and living in a constant state of recovery, tiredness and feeling out of alignment?
Undoubtedly there is a correlation between the degree you feel imbalanced, to the degree which in your unhappiness and your sense of Wellbeing is measured. As adults we are all responsible for our own wellbeing and a certain insight and a particular kind of courage is required to face and know our authentic truth about ourselves to live a well authentic life.
A courage and wisdom that can reward life greatly in terms of personal fulfillment, self-esteem and strategic success. Having awareness of the human spirit is pivotal to achieving personal understanding and fulfillment.
Various positive and negative factors influence your ‘whole’ wellbeing. Your life is reflected by your overall wellness of your Wellbeing. In the university of life our lessons and learnings filter through our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual layers.
Life is an opportunity to discover what you have to offer the world and what the world has to offer you. You need to do your best with what you were given and not criticize what you lack. You have more going for you than against you and when you accept that fact and focus on life’s opportunities your efforts can produce amazing results and rewards as well as give you great self-respect.
To really know your true, authentic self, means going inward through the layers to your foundation, to the real core level of you. Decluttering and renovating, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, all from within.
You don’t need to do this alone. Help is at hand! I can walk with you, guiding you through this human minefield assisting you in the process of uncovering, discovering and striving to ‘Awaken your Greatest Self.’ To create and live a life that feels good inside and out.

Your Inner Layers of Wellbeing
Being able to implement and apply healthy habits, choices, behaviours which ultimately determines the state of your physical wellness. Consistently implementing and maintaining the necessary steps to a healthy functioning body. This involves being informed and responsible in all areas which include exercise, diet, sleep, medical, relationships, financial and environment as well as supporting this lifestyle by avoiding destructive behaviours, habits, and stress.
Is being able to connect, acknowledge and express your emotional nature in a healthy manner irrespective of your challenges or limitations, this is vital to emotional wellness.
It also includes having the appropriate skills to manage stress, fear and change, as well as enhance love, peace and happiness, in a constructive and healthy manner. The better we can understand our emotions, the better we are at managing them.
As you navigate life via your emotions, it communicates insightful messages on what is working or not working in your life delivering important learnings and life lessons. If these life lessons continue unlearned the cycle will continue to repeat until the lesson is completed. For some this can take a lifetime. Once these lessons are learned though, it is permanent, turning learning into wisdom, growing in confidence and positive personal power.
The way you think is your business. Your mental layer represents how you choose to think, your actual thinking style and your beliefs systems. Your state of your thinking influences what you believe, your behaviour and how you actually cope and manage life. Your health of your mental wellbeing is dependent on what you think and believe about you, your life and the people in it. Your thinking, consciously and unconsciously influences your potential for learning and achieving as well as the choices and decisions you make. Understanding your thinking is important and relevant to every aspect of your life. Just because you think something doesn’t make it truth. You need to be able to challenge your thoughts and thinking in a healthy way to know if it really resonates and works for you. Your mental blocks can be holding you back from having a greater life.
The human spirit (spirituality) at its core is about surrendering the baggage held inside, once released, what is left is spirit in its absolute purest form. There is a need to keep expanding in terms of awareness, openness and willingness within our core self. Our core essence ‘Soul’ is who we are behind the mask of who we think we are.
We are all here in the university of life to experience and express our soul through the physical form. We enter this physical world as a soul being, here to have a physical experience not the other way around. Your soul has an intelligence that surpasses any intellect. It is all knowing and has an in-built system to create the life you were destined to live, the knowing is how to access it, that can only happen from within. Your soul understands your real higher purpose and what you are here to achieve as well as the lessons you are here to learn. When you connect and bring your soul qualities into everything you do, you understand and value life through the bigger picture and not through the small, limiting filter of the human form.
